Los Angeles
Child talent management in Los Angeles.
Mommy & Me Entertainment is a boutique management company based in Los Angeles, working alongside agents to develop young performers and manage their careers for the long game.
Who We Serve
Los Angeles has plenty of agencies. What most families are missing is someone managing the whole picture.
Los Angeles is the center of gravity for youth entertainment work: television, film, commercial, and branded content casting all run through it. Families here, and families who travel in for pilot season or auditions, often assume the first thing they need is an agent. What most are actually missing is someone managing the bigger picture around the child: development, branding, and strategy, alongside whatever agency relationships exist.
Management, not a licensed talent agency
We want to be direct about this, because California regulates the word carefully: Mommy & Me Entertainment is a talent and brand management company, not a licensed talent agency. Under California law, only a licensed talent agency can procure employment for an artist. A manager's role is different: developing the talent, shaping their brand, and coordinating the team around them, including the agent who submits for and negotiates specific jobs. We work alongside licensed agents rather than in place of one, and we are careful never to describe our own work as agency work.
How boutique management works alongside agents
A good agent is focused on submissions and bookings within their lane, usually one market or medium. A manager takes the longer view: is this child's training keeping pace, does their material actually represent them well, is the agent relationship working, and where should the next year of development go. In Los Angeles specifically, where the pace of casting can move quickly, having someone thinking about the whole career, not just the next audition, tends to matter more, not less.
The roster as proof
We keep our roster intentionally small and work hands-on with each young performer and creator on it, across entertainment, youth development, dance and choreography, commercial and branded work, and digital content. You can see who we work with, and the range of work they do, on our talent page.
If you are just getting started
If your family is newer to this, our free guides walk through the early steps, including how agents and managers actually differ and what to watch for. Start with How to Become a Child Actor or browse all of them on our Guides page, part of MME Academy.
If you would like to talk about where your child is in the process and whether our approach fits, we are happy to talk.
